 WHAT I WANTED AND WHAT LIFE SERVED ME 

                   MY CAREER JOURNEY 

Today is another cool start. How is it going with you? 

To wish is a pathway, not a validation. Many of us have been in this clime and it does not spar us with whatever reason that spurred the outcome either wish granted on hold till lifetime..To wish is ordinary when no effort is channel to the wishes. 

CHILDHOOD EXPERIENCE

A building without not just a good foundation but a necessary foundation is just a structure soon to collapse. A child with no proper, sound and moral up bring is soon to deviate in dreams, goals, and objectives. 

“The perception of maturity differs from morality” 

As a child I had always considered, tolerate, understand and give support to my clicks, help to solve cases of inability and pay attention emotionally, morally, psychologically and physically in series of events. Thus, this habitual mentality and act has ordinarily portrayed the vision even without full knowledge of what I was doing as to being right or wrong. Authentically, a keen observing parent, guardian is in position to study and understand the behavior, attitude and weaknesses of the child in other to dine along to a particular period. 

Unfortunately, parent is more concerned with the physical, social well-being than observing the entire personality of a child for proper guidance towards the sinful world. Also, the idea of what I want my children to become as against what the child wants is a totally messy approach to children's success. Such advocacy is excellence regarding mental mutual respect, agreement of the parents and the children.

A child may like what his parents do for a living or inspired and want to be like them or better. This is understandable and more encouraging. In the same vein, a child may dislike his parents’ career, but the parents love to make their children into doing same. What a life. There is a need to urge a balance. 

Whatever the case, there should not be a forceful decision to a career path. 

POEM

TITLE : PATIENCE

Right from existence, 

Touring with persistence, 

Grooming, in essence, 

State of mind in tense 

Mind in tears, 

Sense influence 

Series of advice, soul depressed 

Twice as fierce, no regrets. 

Right from existence, patience discriminated 

Reality intense like scotia mine 

Road to deceit paved with good intentions 

Route of good intentions paved with deceit. 

Grow slowly, tagged stupid 

Run faster, marked over ambitious 

Once in a day, come another 

If not dead, morning will grow and be another. 

By grace afternoon will welcome night today is another 

Work today, reward tomorrow, 

Fall today, rise to flow. 

Journey of miles, burden acclimatised 

All will end with smiles, even with fierce.

NOT TALKING BUT ACTIONS

A wish granting factory (Life) 

I was lucky to discover myself earlier in life, especially the personality traits and characters. A career path/choice was achievable for reasons ranging from no guidance, counseling, and orientation. I initially dream of a career in helping people solve problems, not knowing fully that every career sort to solve problems. At first, I thought of becoming a medical Doctor and mechanical engineer at another thought and so on. This didn’t give me a hint on the direction of help exactly until later in life that I understood the suitable career choice I have passion, love for and would excel is Guidance and Counselling. Yeah, you heard me right. Few people believed that some career prospects can not thrive in a country like Nigeria, yeah it is true, but needless to know is how technology has helped to chanell the unbelievable, unexpected success outcome to possible. Although I studied Education Chemistry at the University but that isn’t enough to define me.

“If you must wish, you must act” 

Life is not a wish granting factory, you have to act even in silence.
